God Of War Ultimate Box Mod

So I picked up God of War III Ultimate Edition today using some Rewards Zone points. That saved me about $20 buck so the sting wasn’t so bad on the pocket. I was also more than a little bit disappointed the US version was not as ultimate as the European version. I really would have like to get the God of War collection like the one from across the pod but I digress. So after getting home I opened Pandora’s box and nothing happened. Of course nothing happened silly, but it would have been really great if there were lights or sound or something when I opened the box.

Well instead of wishing I decided to Mod my the Ultimate Box. So I grabbed some old red LED lights I picked up form El wire a few years back and wired them up to Pandora’s Box. It didn’t take that long to do and was really a fun mod to see. I’ve posted some pics via twitter but in the event you don’t follow up I’ve also included the modification pics below. Let us know what you think as I plan on adding some in game music and who knows what else.

It’s Finally here folks! That’s right GOW3 is finally here and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve opted to get the Limited edition with all the sparten goodies I can stand including 2 sound tracks and a replica Pandora’s Box.

That of course is what I’m most excited about. Finally a place to keep all my God of War trinckets and collectibles. I didn’t score a review copy so I had to empty the wallet on this purchase. Army of Two 40th Day

So I’m in Best Buy and looking at the new Army of Two 40th Day and I’m just not convinced that I was in love with the first version of the game to bother with this version. After all there are so many games hitting the street in the next few months this title just is not exciting me.

Comment if you feel diffrently and have picked up the title and haven’t put it down since yesterday. So far I’m not seeing any evidence of that in my XBL Friends yet. There may be more activity this weekend.
