I’m excited to have MvC2 coming to Xbox and PS3. I’m not sure about you but I’ve been waiting on MvC2 to hit the 360 or PS3 since those consoles hit the market. I don’t really like the Xbo360 stick for fighting games although I’m getting better at using it with Street Fighter IV I’m going to stick to the PS3 version of MvC2 when it comes out this summer.
MvC2 will hit Xbox LIVE® Arcade for 1200 Microsoft Points and the PlayStation®Network for $14.99 when the game goes live this summer. I think the price it right for a game of this caliber and I expect to see really high sales and find plenty of competition online.
Capcom has added an optional advanced visual filter that improves the overall appearance of the game. In addition that are new online modes which include: Ranked Matches of course and a more called “Quarter” Match. Basicly you can have up to four people to watch and chat while two others are battling it out. This is a great option and should have been in the new Street Fighter IV. It would make setting up online tournaments so much eailser becasue you can just sit there and watch until the match.
We may get that in the next update to SFIV if we are lucky. Well look out for MvC2 o hit XBL/PSN in the next couple of months. Leave us a comment and let us know what you think. We would also like to know who your faviorte fighter is and what your best combo is.
